I am not aware of having changed anything in settings or whatever, but I get an annoying clipping warning on jpegs, sometimes also in raws, with clipping warning TURNED OFF. Sometimes it disappears, when I use a plugin (zsoften for example), that means: I turn it on and off.
Does anyone have a solution?
It is on a windows 8 64 bit machine. Using it in linux (ubuntu 13.10), everything is fine!
see picture!

Is that really a clipping warning? Or are you running into OpenCL issues?
If you have OpenCL turned on, try turning it off.

THANK YOU! I mean, is it THAT easy...Your advice worked for me.
Is OpenCL kind of an experimental feature?

Well,
OpenCL depends on the quality of the drivers and most consumer cards have crappy drivers, that's why I bought a pro grade card for my main imaging box.
And the original development team was sacked during the integration of OpenCL, so I always have this nagging suspicion it was never fully finished.

I can confirm the issue and that it is OpenCL related.
It really looks like a kind of clipping warning, with two levels: cyan and dark blue. Perhaps some feature accidentally turned on while releasing...
