Red tint on my photos, canon 7D

Post by MrMakker »

I get a red tint when I try to adjust the white balance on my photos. To recreate this bug, one can simply in the White Balance settings do :
  • Initial settings is: Temp 4941, Tint -29
  • Adjust the temp up to 4971 (simply use the scroll wheel).
  • Adjust Temp back to 4971, Tint is still -29. All WB values are back as set in the beginning.
"Click white" to set the white balance does also give a red tint on the photos. I had the similar bug a year ago as well. Ditched usage of ASP until now, I was hoping the update I did yesterday would have fixed this problem. Similar result if I start adjusting the tint as well.

Is there some settings I need to do to prevent this?

Seems like others have reported a similar problem:
