White Garbage Display on Photos

Post by px1977 »

I have tons of raw photos taken with a t2i. One out of every 4 or 5 occasions, when clicking through the photos, the images turn white. Sometimes they stay that way, other times the problem clears up when the program restarts. If I go to export them, they are white as well. Occasionally, the program hangs. Interestingly, newer t4i raw files do not have this problem. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Thanks for the reply and for confirming my suspicion. I did that this morning while waiting for an answer, thinking it to be the logical solution. I went into my ASP folder and removed only the folders that were affected. I restarted the program and it seems ok, but like I said, this problem can come and go so I'll report back if it keeps happening. One question though, when you mention clear the cache, is there a button to do that or just do it manually by nuking everything in the cache folder?

Hi,

no, there is no such button, you have to do it manually. You don`t need to nuke everything in the Cache Folder, you can nuke the whole Folder. But it would be a great feature...
