George,
I just went back to it.
Quote and Edit are both there but no delete option.
I have chosen Edit again and looked all over the page but still no delete option.
Mine is currently the last post in that thread

did they take the delete function away :?:

It's just a little box with an "X" in it (it doesn't say delete).

If it is not to the right of the QUOTE and EDIT buttons, then they must have taken it away...

No X button. I am at work using NT4 at present. don't know if that's anything to do with it, wouldn't have thought so.

When I get home, if my post is still the last one, I will see if Windows XP Pro handles it any differently.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but down at the bottom of the page where it says:

You can post new topics
You can reply to topics
etc.

mine says:

You cannot delete your posts

I know I have been able to in the past. Why the change?

Yes our administrators in their wisdom have removed the ability for us all to delete our OWN posts. Please Mr ArcAngel WHY ????? , I think you'll find that even with the ability ON it is not possible to delete post after someone else has replied so WHY can we not delete our own posts before someone has replied and avoid unneccessary duplication and cross posting.
