Hello ASP users,
New to the forums and am seeking advice.
ASP is processing my .nef files from a Nikon D800, with what seems to be a scratch & pixel displacement (about 2px wide) running through the file. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it does remind me of a scratch on film.
It seems software related (but i am not 100% sure) as the scratch is not present when processed using another raw converter like iPhoto (the only other raw processor I have at the moment).
The scratch is just visible at 100% mag, but becomes more noticeable at 200%.
I have made a jpeg containing the scratch and have placed the iPhoto version next to it for comparison. Below the red ASP text illustrates the scratch.
It is not isolated and appears throughout the shoot to varying degrees, but is sometimes hard to distinguish as there is a lot of black in my images.
I am curious to know if others have had this issue or if this is a known issue and what I can do about it. I did not find anything relating to this on the forum, so apologies if I have missed anything.
Also if the attached image is not helpful, please let me know a better way to supply.
regards [PL]

Turn off OpenCL, if it's enabled.
And post your AftershotPro.log file

Re: .nef being processed with a "scratch" through it
Hi spoilerhead,
Thanks for the tip. Turned off OpenCL as suggested and the issue seems resolved but processing time has increased. I guess that is to be expected.
Attached is the log file as requested.
I am not overly technical, so any basic explanation as to why OpenCL is doing this during processing would be appreciated.

Hi,
as i remember AFX wrote in another Thread, that OpenGL is only in the nvidia Pro Cards usefull implemented. Don`t know which cards Apple uses. Just an idea.
