I just installed VS X5 and tried to import a video from my GoPro Hero3 Black. Two Videos will work but all the others will not. I keep getting "file format mismatch" error. Why is this happening?
I followed a link from another post to the "k-lite patch" but after following it I was discouraged due to the claims that it was a virus.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: VS X5 "file format mismatch" error
How exactly did you "import' the video? With my GoPro Hero 3, I simply connect the camera to my computer via its mini USB link and transfer the video from the DCIM folder using Windows, then open the clips in VS by right clicking the timeline (or library window) and choosing 'Insert Video'. Works very well and the quality is superb.
