A quick question if some one could please check the following for me and confirm if they are seeing the same issue following installing the new service pack for x6.
In x6 I open a photo. Then go to Image/Add borders. Select a 10 pixel border. Make sure symmetric is checked.
What result do you get? In my experience I'm getting the right hand border thinner than the top, left and bottom. However if I keep zooming in the right hand border 'seems' to become the correct size. Note this happens 9 out of 10 times. Not ALL the time!!!
I often add a fine 10 pixel border to my finished photos. But now I'm not so sure as the new service pack seems to have a 'glitch' in it for this feature. Or is it just me?
Thanks

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
I frequently use borders and I didn't recall seeing that so I just tested it on a few images and I'm still not seeing it.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
FWIW, my borders are all equal in both the 32 and 64 bit versions of the updated program. And just to be sure, I tried it on 7 different images.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
Thanks. Maybe it's just the colour I'm using. But each time I put a border around a photo the right hand side is always thinner.
Once I zoom or 'play' around it seems to work itself out.
Thanks. Seems it's just something in my system or something I'm doing.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
It could been a mixture of color and the zoom setting. If it's a large photo and you're zoomed out at a weird amount pixels are dropped in places that produce strange results.
Possibly making the edges thinner. But maybe not.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
Try it at its simplest. Create a new blank document fill with white and place a black border and check.
In all problems work at the simplest level first, slowly adding complexity til you find what causes the problem and check if it is repeatable.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
Here's an example. I added the red border and you should be able to see that the right hand side is thinner. (Not so obvious on a small jpeg).
At first the cream/white border had an issue. But then it settles down! Add the red one and the same problem. Thin on the right side.

Re: x6 SP-1 question/issue
Ah!!! Now the attachment looks ok. Something is amiss with my screen/setup that the issue is only happening when I first add the border.
I can live with the issue as long as I know that the actual file has a uniform border regardless of what I'm seeing.
