.MODD files
Can .MODD files be deleted from Video Studio without affecting the accompanying video file? We are using VS Ultimate X6, and every video file has an accompanying .MODD file.

Re: .MODD files
A google search seems to indicate that these .modd files are required for playback of the video using some Sony player.
Instead of deleting them, why not simply "save" them in a sub-folder and see what happens.

Re: .MODD files
Thanks Canuck. We had done the same google search and found half of the replies said they are non-essential and can be deleted, and half said they are necessary for playback on Picture Motion Browser. We could save them in a separate folder, but we were hoping to free up the computer space as well as getting them out of the way. Maybe we'll just delete a few and see if it makes a difference. We don't really use PMB for our edited videos but don't want to mess things up for VS.

Re: .MODD files
The .modd files are not used by VideoStudio so you will not mess things up for VideoStudio if you delete them - it will only affect playback in other programmes.
