Suntan & Thinner tools - No options listed

When I click on the makeup tools in version X6 – 64-bit it brings up 5 separate tools. I can find no options for the suntan or thinner tool although its states clearly in the user manual and other help functions that there should be size and strength options. I have checked this forum and there are some posts that say there is no strength option for the suntan tool, however this is not what the user manual states. Is the user manual and the help function incorrect and if not, how do I bring up these options?

Do the options show up for the other modes?

All of the modes have either size or strength. So the question is, do the options both disable? Or do they disappear altogether when you suntan or thinner?

If they disappear is there a white arrow anywhere around the tool options palette?

If nothing else you can try a full reset of the workspace to see if that works.

The options do not show up for any of the tools. I know they did once since I have used the blemish tool and the toothbrush and the options were available. I do not see a white arrow anywhere. They do not disappear, they never appear although all the modes are displayed. I also noticed while looking around that the presets box is completely empty for all modes.

I did a reset of the workspace but that did not restore the tools options.

X4 works fine.

I have my tool options back again. I thought that the update might correct their unavailability but it did not in itself. However, I went to the reset box and checked "Reset General Preferences", "Reset Workspace to Default Configuration", "Delete All Cache Files" and the "Tool Options" reappeared.
