When I use a vertical text the letters are always so far apart and they get mishappen when
I squish them closer and then have to expand horizonally .
Anyone know setting to solve this problem other than putting each letter on a separate layer?
Currently using X3,X4,X5
Thanks, Marj

Re: Vertical Text settings
Kerning & tracking are values for space between characters.
Tracking is the amount of equal space between all characters, kerning is the spacing between certain letter combinations. I'm sure you've seen where sometimes two letters don't appear to be part of the same word even though they were typed one after the other with no extra spaces. That's kerning.
Trying decreasing the tracking between all of the letters to bring them closer together. Then go for the finer detail with kerning.
