....this post is to keep my account alive
There is really nothing that can be said that hasn't already been said about the situation and ASPro. It is a shame but we all must face up to the fact that COREL will not participate in answers, so we await a time when ASPro will just disappear, for me going on 10-yrs since Bibble v1. There may be an upgrade to a new version for ASPro but I doubt.

....still no info from any front; social media, website, email, this forum nor any other avenue regarding ASPro.
It is shameful that COREL appears to have no interest in the camera data needs for 6+ months or more by the licensed owners of the software.

Re: ASP Support for Olympus OM-D E-M1 RAW Files
ASP is, rather sadly, dead. I've been a Bibble user for many moons, and when Bibble 5 was announced it was a fairly revolutionary product. It was way faster than the competition, and was feature rich. Even back then though, 5.0 was late to market compared to the promises, and lacked advertised features, which didn't emerge until 5.1 made it out the door. They never charged for the late upgrades, and I think that even way back then, Bibble lacked developer resource - they just couldn't get it done fast enough, and weren't willing to ask the userbase for cash to get more developers and get it moving better.
When Corel bought it, I was suspicious, but genuinely thought that the additional resources they could bring might have made a difference, and pushed Bibble (ASP) back into the front of the race. For whatever reason, Corel never had the appetite to put the required effort in. They did basically nothing after the original release, then laid off the developer team, and have failed to do anything since. They're non-responsive, and even more silent than the Bibble team used to be. I held onto hope that things might change for too long really, and even still visit these forums from time to time. It's obvious that it's been left too long now though - the users have moved away, and there's no-one left dumb enough to give Corel the benefit of the doubt. ASP was a great piece of software, flaws and all, but it's not coming back to life. I don't understand the reasons why Corel has thrown away their investment, but it smells like incompetent management who don't understand the technical requirements of the product making short sighted decisions. I'm sure there's been a couple of re-shuffles behind the scenes, and lots of corporate backside covering and scapegoating of the departed - the typical hallmarks of failing companies. It doesn't really matter for the users - the product is dead, and even the biggest supporters have moved to different software.

As a service to other potential buyers of ASP: It's now end of March. Still no update. Just so you see the (lack of a) timeline here. So don't even consider to buy ASP.hartings wrote:No. That is the lesson I learnt.
In the meantime, I switched to Lightroom. You might want to consider that too if you want to use your E-M1

Here's one more request for EM1 support. It was a Corel splash screen that convinced me to buy the program in the first place, I got it specifically so I could use it with my new OMD. In the somewhat distant past, the company made the effort to put up several excellent ASP tutorials on YouTube, I really hope they don't let the product die.
