Is there a way to transfer brushes and picturetube elements from Pro X3 to Pro x5?

No need to transfer them. Simply point X5 to the content in X3 through File > Preference > File location and under the Brushes and Picture Tube tabs, add the location of the matching content in your X3 installation.
