difficulty with PlugIns
I have tried several different plugins with Paint Shop Pro X6. I have placed them in various directories and listed those directories in File Location preferences. I then re-start the program and no matter what I do, I can't get PSP to show them. It just is grayed out and says "no plugins loaded". Anyone have any suggestions? They are all.8bf files and I am looking in "Effects" Do they have to go in a specific directory or am I looking in the wrong place?

Re: difficulty with PlugIns
If the plugins are not 64 bit plugins then they will not work with the 64 bit version of PSP (or Photoshop for that matter). You'll have to try opening the 32 bit version of the program and see if that works.

If you are experiencing this problem using the 32-bit version of X6, it could be a Data Execution Prevention issue.Jack Gerber wrote:I have tried several different plugins with Paint Shop Pro X6. You need to include PSP in the list to stop some plugins being rejected:
Start>Control Panel>System Protection>
Advanced>Settings>Data Execution Prevention
Then navigate to the ProgramFiles (x86) >Corel>PSPX6 (32-bit)>Corel>Corel PSPX6>Corel PaintShop Pro.exe and click on the file to add it to the list.
After that sit in a chair and pour yourself some strong coffee!
