Hi Everyone:
I am new to the board, and would appreciate some help.
I downloaded and installed Videostudio Pro 6 (trial) with no issues at all.. I started a new project i imported my video into the library and once i put it in the timeline to get ready to edit, I hit the "Soundmixer" button and hit the "Attribute" tab and hit the "Duplicate Audio Channels" - "Left" ... ( the reason i did this and its the ONLY thing i need it to do, is because this particular video has only the "left" side audio working) and i save it and play it and it plays Flawlessly perfect...( you can hear both left and right perfect) So i went to "Share" then to "Create Video File" and i create it as a dvd (4:3) and each single time i have done this it will render the video fine, but the audio just sounds like really loud snow!...
p.s I have tried rendering it as other types of videos and it gives me the same "Loud SNow" sound in each video
Any thoughts to what i am doing wrong?
Thanks
Randy

Hi Lanshire
And welcome to the forums, sorry for the late reply your post does seem to have gone un-noticed.
I don’t really understand why this is happening, I guess not many users have to apply this Duplicate so don’t notice if there is a problem.
What does it sound like if you Create Video File without applying the Duplicate Channel?
Can you give some details regarding the original video file, right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, what are they.?
You can copy the window to create an image, attach the image to your post.
One thing you could try is disabling Smart Render
From Share create video file –DVD 4:3 the Create Video File window has an Options button. From there deselect Smart Render, does that improve the audio quality?

Re: Videostudio Pro 6 Trial Audio issues
Lata.. i will make a couple of videos and youtube them, and let you see what i am trying to say. its ok that i went un-noticed.. I just only have 30 days to test it.. its the only software that i found to do it.
here is the details of the original video file.:
Before i make the video and share it, i will try to disable smart render and try it.
Thanks for the reply BTW.

Hi
That’s good news
Sometimes Smart Render is not that Smart with some video types.
Rendering may be longer, but if it works that’s all that matters.
I asked from a properties image from Video Studio not windows explorer not a problem now?
Good luck

Re: Videostudio Pro 6 Trial Audio issues
We'll all is good now , but I did figure a few things out. I was always playing my videos in
Windows media player,(that's when the snow sound sounded all the time) but I never thought to play them in the vlc player, when
I played them in the vlc player, they played beautifully, so perhaps it was a windows media player issue.
1 other thing that I figured out was when I installed video studio 6 (trial) both my DVD drives, decided not to show up anymore. They showed up in device manager with the yellow flag on them, and in the bios as well. The software would not install for them though , hence I couldn't use them . So after I uninstalled video studio and restarted they both showed back up and work fine now.
