I have owned Ulead Videostudio 11 for at least 4 years now and it has worked great for all my video editing projects. However, I recently ran into a rendering issue with the WMV-HD rendering option in 720p and 1080p. I import my AVCHD files from my Canon Vixia HFM41 into Ulead, create a smart proxy file, edit the video and render it with an MPEG-4 audio file. This all occurs on my HP Pavilion G series laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Once the rendering process is complete, the video looks great, but the audio acquired a very annoying crackling sound that continues throughout the entire video. When I listen to the project audio before the rendering process, it sounds exactly as it should, so I know for sure it must be an issue with the WMVHD rendering codec. How would I go about repairing the codec or replacing it with a superior version. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
