I always find that Windows Media Player is quite adequate to burn audio discs.
Open Windows Media player and click on the 'Burn' tab towards the top right corner
Drag and drop the audio files you want to burn into the lower right window - put in a blank CD
Click on 'Start burn' at the top of that panel.

Hi Ken
First you have to make that audio file, Split Audio will not do that.
Choose Share Create Sound file that will create a Wav of the project, use the wav in WMP as Brian’s post

Re: Make CD from split audio in X5
Thanks for the info gentlemen. After your advice, my workflow was as follows :-
1 Split audio select audio clip Share-create sound file
2 In Windows Media Player-click Burn tab (towards top right)
3 Drag audio (WAV) files from hard drive folder to window on the right of WMP
If the length of the file does not display, WMP will not burn the file-in this case,
play the file and then the time should display.
4 Insert CD- click start burn

Re: Make CD from split audio in X5
Hi Ken
1 / The Share Create Sound file will create an audio file of the entire project,
It does not create for individual clips.
2 / You do not have to Split Audio, as above it creates the full project.
3 / if you wish to create a sound file of an individual clip you may be best to add that clip to a new project, then Share Create Sound file.
4 / There is the option to set the “project preview range” which will create the file from the selected range.

Re: Make CD from split audio in X5
Thanks for giving me the benefit of the info in your reply Trevor.I did not realise that a sound file can not be made from a clip but as it happens I did want to have the whole project's audio rendered into a sound file.So I will be able to use the info you gave should I ever want to use it from a clip..........................Ken
