Hello again, esteemed and talented friends. For some inexplicable reason, the 'Smartsounds' tracks I load into the time line do not RENDER. That is, the 'share' button creates the suitable video file without the music! Their is a message, "Load from Stream Error" which comes up after the rendering process. Any ideas please on how to solve this hitherto unexperienced problem? Best wishes all.

Exactly how do you load the SmartSound tracks -- after they have been processed/trimmed through the QuickTracks or otherwise?

Hello Ken my fine friend. Hope you're well, happy and healthy. I am running VSP X5. I click the Soundtracks' logo, scroll through the options, select one and then click 'Add to timeline'. It is set to 'auto-trim', and I may slightly trim at the beginning so that it dosen't start too early in the video. I play the whole thing through to check I'm happy with the 'timing' and mood of the music then click 'Create File'. It renders all the way to the end before displaying the "Load from Stream Error" message and when I then play the MPEG file Videostudio has created, it is without music!Ken Berry wrote:Exactly how do you load the SmartSound tracks -- after they have been processed/trimmed through the QuickTracks or otherwise?

Hi Spudgun
Strange that you are having these problems, my first thought is to uninstall and re-install the program.
I always find rendering Smart Sound clips to be very slow so normally create a sound file of the Smart Sound clip, this creates a wav which seems to render much quicker.
Yes I realise you have tried another format but can you try Wav files.
1 / You do not say what you are rendering to Share Create Video File-then what do you choose.?
2 / If you were to add an audio clip only without your video do you have the same problem.
3 / Start a new project-----Add a colour clip to the timeline then add Smart Sound clip, then Share Create Video File does that render ok, try with different lengths of audio clips?
If you are able to render, try again using your video clip again?

Hello Trevor, and many thanks for your help. I have tried rendering to ALL types of file, HDV, as well as MPEG4, with same result. I also tried creating a video using just a COLOUR background with attached music, to no avail.lata wrote:Hi Spudgun

Oh boy...............embarrassment time.
The fault would appear to be with the computer Videostudio was loaded onto. I have now managed to recover the audio, even though the error message still comes up, the AUDIO IS rendering. I just couldn't hear it, via the media player I was using........As always, you guys are my heroes.
Godbless.
