Paintshop Ultimate X6 crashes continuously
After installing the latest fix/update/patch Paintshop Ultimat X6 crashes continuously. After startup it goes for a minute or so and then crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it without any change. I've emptied the temp directory. I have no idea what to do next. This sucks.

Have you tried the Corel Hail Mary play? Hold the shift key down while clicking on the short cut to start PSP. It should ask if you want to restore PSP to factory defaults, you click yes and pray that it works.

Thanks for the reply. That's what they sent me. I tried it but it didn't work. The software is still crashing after a couple of minutes even if it isn't being used.

Hi,
do you have by any chance image files with hierarchical keywords in the last used folder? If yes, then that's the problem. PSP starts with the browser (AKA manager), and the browser crashes on such files.
