Using tutorial to create a transparent watermark, I cannot find "Create As" or "Stroke Width" options in my text tool menu. From the tutorial:
"On the Tool Options palette, choose one of the following text types from the Create As drop-list:"
"on the Tool Options palette, set the Stroke width control to 1.0 or greater."
I'm sure it's something obvious I'm missing. It's always the operations that seem the simplest which trip me up for hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using Paint Shop Pro X6 64bit

Re: Need help finding Text options in Pro X6
When the Text Tool is selected both these options are on the Tools Option Palette.
The Tools Options Palette changes to whatever tool you select.
Stroke Width then Create as: Vector, Selection, Floating

Re: Need help finding Text options in Pro X6
This is the menu I've got. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is this something different in the 64 bit program vs the 32 bit? Do I need to reinstall?

I figured it out. Thank you. I needed to expand the text option menu bar by hitting the sideways arrow near the anti-alias box. Got it now.
