WinDVD Pro 11 & Avast Free 2014 Issue.

I have 2 systems with WinDVD Pro 11. One is Win8.1 & the other is Win 7 x64. Both had WinDVD Pro 11 working fine until I installed Avast Free 2014 then WinDVD Pro 11 won't load on either system. I uninstalled Avast Free 2014 on the Win7 system & WinDVD Pro 11 works again.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I can confirm this.
I have this problem and uninstalled Avast, then WinDVD started beautifully.
once I installed Avast again, WinDVD stops after splash screen.

I will try to find the reason why and I will post any procedure that will help here.

I had similar problems with WinDVDPro11 (for Windows8)
I was not able to launched WinDVD
I had no problems under the installation of WinDVD

I uninstall AVAST Software and WinDVD was then working find

This happens to me too. WinDVD Pro 11 exits with a fault in LogicLayer.dll. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Uninstall AVAST 9 fixed the issue.
