I have a problems with Aftershot Pro freeze when I maneuver in the library structure and new previews needs to be created.
I'm on Linux (Kbuntu 13.04, now 13.10). I have the OS on a 250 GB SSD and the pictures on a 3,6 TB SATA raid 0 on a Adaptec raid controller.
The graphic card is a Ati 5850 and there is 24 GB of memory on the system.
The problem is not persistent but is more random but when I have the problem, restart ASP and resume it still freezes.
If I cancel resumes and go in to the same folder/catalog in the library there might not be a problem.
The library have about 50.000 pictures in it (half of my pictures)..
When I use the ASP file browser in the same folders there is no problems. Previews are created with no problems (that's my workaround
)Is this a known problem? And would I have less problems if I get a NVidia Card?
I do have problems with the Ati drivers if I use Ati's own drivers.
Any Ideas?
