Hello,
In order to create a video file in the AVCHD 1920X1080 format, I have the following options in the VSP X6:
AVCHD (1920X1080)
AVCHD (1920X1080, 24P)
AVCHD (1920X1080, 25P)
AVCHD (1920X1080, 50P)
I don't have any idea what is the differences between those formats, so I don't know what to choose.
My original clips are 25 frames/sec, does it means that I have to choose the 25P?
In the user guide I didn't find anything about this issue.
Any help will be appreciate.
Thank you,
Abraham

Re: AVCHD formats in x6
When you right click on one of your original files in the VS timeline, and select Properties, does it say Upper Field First anywhere? If so, your video is 25P but in the sense of 50 half frames a second (i.e. 50i where the i stands for interlaced fields). 50P is fifty full frames a second and higher quality than 25P/50i. 24p is a frame rate which emulates commercial movies, but I would stick with 25P.

Hi Abraham
Just to add to Kens comments.
When you do Share Create Video File is Same as first Video Clip available.
If yes then use that option as it will duplicate your video files properties.
The Create Video File window will open, at the bottom I see a properties panel, the video files details can be seen there.

Thank you very much Ken and Lata.
I used the 25P, and the video came out perfect.
