Video 9 'Red Line'

Post by sbjenks »

Getting use to working in Version 9. Current project has a curious red solid line just above the upper time line video track, and just below the time stamps. the bar starts at begining of project, goes for about 4 minutes into the project and stops midway through a clip. If you playback the project, Video Studio 9 will only play back to where the red line ends - even though there are more clips etc. in the time line. Any ideas out there?

That's what I got when I posted your question a few weeks ago. It is mentioned in the book but I hadn't been able to find it. In my case, the red line appeared as if by magic and kept me from working on part of my video. I didn't have the cool to do a "search."

To remove the red line double click on the mark out. This is the only way I can get rid of the red line.

That just happened to me

Yep, it freaked me out at first. It turns out that I thought I was trimming a movie clip but I actually was shortening the whole project. Just click right on the time stamp line and bring the mark out back to the end.
