Activating PaintShop Pro x6 Ultimate

Activating PaintShop Pro x6 Ultimate
I recently purchased PaintShop Pro x6 Ultimate. When I try to install it on the machine it states that "the serial number has not been enabled. Please, contact the vendor where you purchased your product to have the issue resolved." I thought it just wasn't enabled yet so I went to exchange it at the store where I bought it. After I got it exchanged with a new copy, the exact same thing happens and it will not install on the machine. I am getting frustrated with this. This machine does have x4 on it currently. What could be causing this? Any help would be great. Thanks.
