Inserting Images Into Single Frames?

Post by rlhurst »

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible, and if so, how to do it..... in X5, to insert multiple images into their own single frames, at one time.
Say I have images 1.jpg - 250.jpg, and I want all to be loaded into single frames... for an animation. Can I achieve that? Thanks

Yes you can - right click on the timeline and choose "insert Photo" - browse to the images and select them all by using the standard windows - "click - - Shift+click" method - click on 'open' and they will all import - at the standard default you have set of 1 or 2 seconds - you cannot set duration shorter than 1 second on import BUT you can change it after import.

you now need to select all images in the timeline - click on the very first one - now navigate to the very last and again hold down 'shift' while you click - all images should then be selected.

Now click on the smal edit up top left and from the drop down choose "change photo/color duration" - in the little box which then opens the figures are hours, minutes, seconds and FRAMES - so set the last one to 1 and OK and all images should set to 1 frame.

Thanks Brian! I had made it as far as inserting the images... just needed that extra info on the "edit", "set duration". I appreciate your help.
