Hi all
I have created disc images of some projects. The 'share' option allows for making disc images but I can't see how to burn a disc from the image using VS X4.....the 'create disc' section does not seem to accept an image for burning. Any advice would be welcome.
( I know I can do it with other software but just wondered!)
Thanks Chis H

Re: Burn a disc from disc image
Not possible in X4 I'm afraid that option was not included there you need to use something else - maybe the free Imgburn programme available from :-
http://www.imgburn.com/
But the option to burn iso to disc was added in X5 and retained in X6
time for an upgrade ?? - or at least try the free trial

Re: Burn a disc from disc image
Hi Chris
Windows 7 has the facility to “burn a disc Image iso file”, Not use it myself though
Right click the iso file and choose “Open With”
I see “Windows Disc Image Burner” as an option
I have to say I have my associations set to play with VLC Media Player, as that is the easiest way to play the Iso before burning a disc.
Video Studio always had a Disc Image burner up to VS 10, maybe VS 11 had it?? then it was removed, no idea why, but reintroduced on X5 and X6

Re: Burn a disc from disc image
Hi all
Thanks for that - I felt sure earlier versions would do it. I have used the win 7 option, and the free version of ashampoo both of which seem OK.
Not really looked into the latest versions of VS yet - will no doubt upgrade in due course.
I have recently got VLC media player just for the purpose of playing the Iso's.
Thanks again
