L.S.,
Because I had some problems with burning Dvd's I reinstalled VS Pro X5. At starting it opens but does not work. I get the message that there are problems and I have to send the name of a dumpfile to Corel. It's the message: vstudio_15.2.0.10_2013009_135036.DMP. What can be the matter?

Re: Videostudio Pro X5 does not open
Well the first thing is do not send the dump file to us - we are not Corel and have no idea how to read the dump file.
incidentally it is not the NAME of the dmp file that Corel will need - but the actual file itself which is on your computer with that name in the location indicated in the error message..
It rather sounds as though your system was not clean when you did the re-install - please try downloading the zip file I have attached here - un-zip it and run the resulting .exe file - this should completely clean X5 from your system including the corrupted files.
Then re-install X5 again.
