My System is a Dell Dimension 4100 833MH computer with 393 RAM running Windows 2000 server.
Problem 1: What is causing my system to freeze when clicking on Add/Edit Chapter?
Unfortunately MovieFactory 3 is locking my system.
MovieFactory plays my MPEG2 DVD files but when I click on Add/Edit Chapter or when I exit from Multi-trim Video my system freezes within a few seconds.I've tried...
1. Reinstalling all software and drivers and updates.
2. Eliminating most of nonessential services.
3. Moving my WinTV PVR 150 card to different slots.
4. Run Nero 6.3 which also had a problem adding chapters. I updated to 6.6 and it still freezes as well.
I'm now working on creating a separate boot with nothing loaded but minimum requirements.
Problem 2: Is there a way to capture video and sound with the WinTV PVR 150?
I'd like to test MovieFactory's ability to capture TV or camcorder video but have had trouble figuring out how. When I capture video it does not allow sound to be recorded from the WinTV card.
