Using X5 Workspaces in X6 Trial Version?

Post by jpmccormac »

I have a trial version of PSP X6. I'd like to move and use my workspaces from X5. I've tried everything I can think to do: point to the X5 workspaces folders, copying the X5 workspaces to the X6 folder, adding the X5 folders in the File Locations Preferences, etc. No luck.

I also chatted with a Corel Tech and she was clueless. She told me to email the Tech Support group, but she neglected to tell me you need a support Case number and she never supplied one. WTF!

Any help would be appreciated....

As far as I know, based on feedback during beta testing, workspaces for one version of PSP can not be copied to a different version. During the beta the workspaces could not be duplicated from one beta test to the next. So your only resort may be to look at what you have in one version and set up the next in the same way, then save the workspace.

I'm sure others will comment.
