Hi friends,
I try to install my NeatImage v6.1 Pro+ Plugin (32 bits version, the only available) on my Corel PSP X6 ultimate (64 bits), as I previously used an old Photoshop version.
So I have placed the "Neatimage.8BF" file into the C:\program Files(x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X6\PlugIns\FR\Neatimage directory, but when I start X6 64 bits, the Neatimage plugin does not appear in the "plugins / external Modules" menu list.
Of course the "Perfectly Clear" plugin, provided with X6, that is located in the "C:\program Files(x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X6\PlugIns\FR\PerfectlyClearforPSP" directory appears and is operationnel.
BUT I see the Neatimage plugins in the 32 bits version of PSP X6, so maybe the plugin is not installed in the apropriate directory ?
Any idea on how I could get Neatimage working with X6-64 ? (I run W7 Pro-64bits).
Thanks !

No 64-bit application can call a 32-bit plugin. That's why Photoshop, PaintShop Pro and PhotoLine install both 32- and 64- bit versions of their products -- so you can use your 32-bit plugins in the 32-bit version of the software.

Re: NeatImage plugin in PSP X6 does not appear
Thanks very much for this clear answer ! (this was also what I believed). I have to switched to the 32 bits version of X6...
I have another problem on the X6-32 bits with 2 other plugins made by ANDROMEDA and named "Shadow" and "Perspective". They both work on a 32 bits Photoshop version on W7Pro-64, and I can install them into the X6 plugins directory , but cannot key in the serial number so I cannot use them. Unless you also use these plugins, I assume that you cannot help me...(?)

I don't have those plugins, so I can't help. Sorry.
You might want to contact the plugin author directly....
