I have a Windows 8 64-bit system. Why Corel VideoStudio X6 has Windows Media Encoder 9 Series included in the installation package. It is not even supported on Windows 7 and 8.

Unsupported doesn't mean it doesn't work - I am sure Corel only include Media Encoder because it is required to make VideoStudio work correctly - if you stop Media Encoder from installing then you may well find that some functions of VideoStudio do not work in the way they should.
