multi-layer music and video studio pro

I been searching around but other than going to the smart sound website and buying their software I do not know of any other sound software which allows me to create multilayer music for video studio. Additionally it does not appear that their software contains a plugin for Corel videostudio. So what are my options concerning creating custom music for videostudio?

SmartSound does in fact have a plug-in which comes as part of the Video Studio package (as it does in a number of other video editing packages). The Sonic Fire Pro program made by SmartSound, is more at the professional end of the market, and has a variety of other features not found in the module that comes in Video Studio. This includes the ability to be able to import video in order to better synchronise the music with the video.

Note however that with both Sonic Fire and the VS module you do not actually create music from scratch. You have to use their music and simply tailor its length, and some other aspects. And their discs do not come cheap. Only a few tracks come as part of the VS module, so again you have to contemplate buying more of their discs.

Sony also used to have a similar product for their own video editing programs, but I don't know if it still exists; nor can I remember its name

If you want to create your own multi-layer music then you need a specialised programme something like Magix Music creator
