Help!! "Unable to make the folder"

This is unrelated to my previous post, but I am trying to open a new project and I am getting the above message "unable to make
the folder 1400:680:1112" I have no thumbnails (I removed them from previous recent projects).

I am using VS8

I have 56GB of free hard disk

I also have a Monday deadline for this project!!!!

What is wrong?

I have the following PC specs:
Athlon XP 3200+
1.83Ghz
1GB Ram
ABIT NF7-S Motherboard nForce2
400FSB, Dual DDR400, 8x AGP, SATA

I suggest that you reinstall VS8. Apply the latest patch and the Daylight Saving patch, check VS8 FAQs.

A bit late for Peta, but maybe this will help someone else in the future...

This can happen if you delete the 'Working folder'. Go to File/Preferences... and make sure that the 'Working folder' on the General tab is pointing to a valid folder.
