I wonder if any of you knowledgeable souls can throw any light onto an issue I'm having with the output from X6 Pro ... namely a dotted/hashed white line across the very top of the video for about half of the way across (left to right) ?? ...
I was previously using Camtasia Studio 8 for basic production without any issues, but since switching to X6 Pro I have this output issue as described above.
I was originally using a PCI based capture card in my PC but have had to abandon it due to it's imminent death and temporarily replaced it with a Digital Climax VCAP303 ...
Code: Select all
http://www.climaxdigital.co.uk/epages/BT3449.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT3449/Products/111129... which looks remarkably like the ezcap.tv 116 ... whilst I search out a suitable new unit.
The VCAP303 & Ezcap 116 also appear to share the same driver ... USB 2861 ...

... so I'm at a loss to know what might be causing this output issue as I'm basing my assumptions on what I was told aeons ago when PVRs were in their infancy; namely that output issues like this are very generally regarded as being a driver associated problem. Given the Ezcap.tv 116's reputation, I'm at a loss to find any significant difference between the Vcap303 and the Ezcap.tv 116 and what lies at the root of this problem.
I'd be most interested to hear from anyone who might be able to throw a little light onto this issue for me.
Many thanks in anticipation.
