Importing 5's Nik Plugins Into 6?

Is this possible? REALLY miss the "bleach" and "contrast" options...

Sure, just point to the location of the Nik plug-ins via File -> Preferences -> File Locations -> Plug-ins.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

Ok, I tried, I've added it to the file preferences, the location is clearly there but it's not loading the plug-in, is there a step I'm missing?

OK, got it... Looks like it won't work with the 62 bit version... Have to use it in the 32 bit version! Thanks!!!

That is a big fat bummer that the key feature of the X6 upgrade (64 bit!), basically kills usability for Nik Color Efex 3 filters. I wish they could get a 64 bit version, or have the 64 bit code call a 32 bit "bridge" piece of code that can hand-off the image to Color Efex and back.

I think this would substantially increase happiness for those that did upgrade, and push those like myself with X5 to consider upgrading. Right now there is NO WAY I will upgrade and sacrifice my Nik filters.

You wouldn't have to sacrifice your nik filters. x6 comes with both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Just use the 32-bit version of the program when you want to use the plugins. Annoying? Yes. Worth it? Up to you.

Just know you wouldn't have to give them up just because PSP now has a 64-bit version.
