Equalize audio on music track
I am using VS4. Is there a way to equalize audio music tracks? I know that there is a "normalize audio " option just prior to burning but that is for videos only. For whatever reason the last two videos I have made have varying audio volumes on different music. Hopefully I am just overlooking a setting somewhere. Thanks for any help.

No way that I know of - apart from adjusting the volume of each clip individually.
to help me balance them out I use a free audio volume meter - which sits on top of VideoStudio and shows the sound levels while playing - you can download it from :- http://www.vuplayer.com/other.php
there is a video showing it in use here :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD_BtSQPPvM
and close up it looks like this

Re: Equalize audio on music track
Thanks - that's kind of what I thought. I used the vu meter built into videoPro and an external one similar to the one you recommended. While everything looks fine and sounds fine during playback, the finished DVD had varying audio levels. Turned out to be the audio filter. I used it to amplify some of the tracks, but found it does not reflect in playback or on either of the vu meters I was using. But the finished DVD reflected the different volume levels set by using the audio filter and those that did not use the filter. Glitch or operator error, I don't know which but the filter significantly affected the volume levels were used on the track in the finished DVD.
