I am trying to do a screen capture and I get this error message after the 3, 2, 1 countdown. I get no recording at all. Strangely, I did one recording this past weekend, and I didn't get any issue.
Any idea what might cause this? And mostly how to fix that so I can do a screen capture?

This issue has been reported many times on this forum and unfortunately has never had a resolution.

I had the issue with X5 and it could not be satisfactorily resolved by either Corel support or members of this forum. When I installed X6, screen capture worked perfectly. Occasionally, even with X6, screen capture fails to work for no obvious reason, so I just carry out a complete reinstall of X6 and so far, that corrects the problem.
Can only suggest that you try uninstalling and reinstalling X6.
