PSPX6 and Ultimate Pack programs

Post by waclawnowak »

In the online shop of the company Corel I purchased the PAINTSHOP program pro X6 EN AM Upgrade . I have a problem with the installation of additional elements: Perfectly Clear and Corel of Creative Collection and programs downloaded from the membership account: Creative Content Corel and KPT Corel. Every attempt of the installation, of all these programs, is ending with the announcement: "Installation not was finished. The system was not modified. In order to complete the installation some other time start installations again. Mistake while conducting the transformation. Check whether passed paths of the transformation are correct. Click on the button finish ". PAINTSHOP X6 Pro is installed: version 64-bit in the default catalogue: C: / Program files/Corel/ , and version 32 - bit, in the C: / Program files (x86) / Corel/. I tried to change default catalogues, but nothing it didn't help. My system is Windows Home Premium 64 - bit with Service Pack 1. I ask for advice, how to install these additional programs.

I had the same problem with the default installation directories. I used a Registry cleaner then defragged Drive C and changed the PSP directory from "Corel PaintShop Pro X6 (64-bit)" to "PSP X6 (64-bit)" or "Corel PaintShop Pro X6" to "PSP X6" . PSP X6 64,32-bit and Ultimate Pack programs installed.

I have no idea if this is your issue, but the only time I had an issue with install a PSP program was because of anti-spyware/malware programs. Turned them off and it installed fine.
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

I thank for advice. I tried both terminations, but still I am in the same place. Still the same result. Either somebody will still suggest me something or I will wait for Service Pack 1.

I have the same. My guess is that you are using the Polish version of the Windows installer, and may not be suitable for other languages. I am also angry as hell and I'm waiting for a sensible solution. Regards, Thomas from Poland. Yes we have electricity and use Corel products.

Tomasz, Tomasz, Tomasz - don't worry, we know what a beautiful country Poland is and that it is right in there with other EU countries in being in the 21st century. No need for an inferiority complex.

Can you try converting to English as the language for X6 and then doing the download? That may prove your point.

Yes yes yes, I know that you know. I have windows 7 professional in the Polish language and pspx6 in English (which was the only one to download). Other things also have the ultimate pack in English. Everything works except PerfectlyClear.exe, which can not be installed. Best regards and I look forward to solve the problem. Thomas.

Not in the folder that I have.

No extra brushes, tubes, etc.

I have X6, not ultimate, but everything installed.

Where would that script helper show up?

Purchased Paint Shop Pro X6 ultimate - Paint Shop and Face Filter easily installed- Creative Collection and Perfectly Clear both freeze when installing - Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601) - Corel tells me the issue is with my computer not writing to the registry - Sony tells me its the software installer - The situation has been very frustrating - I see others have had the same issues - Has anyone figured out how to get perfectly clear and creative collection installed.
