Hi Everyone
Just used DVD shrink to back up a copy of a commercial DVD. Although the first screen confirmed that the DVD was encrypted DVD Shrink completed the analysis and encoding and burnt the DVD. (DVD was BBC series-History of Britain)
I now find that I can play the DVD in all its glory on My PC. (I use Power DVD), but unfortunately when I try it on my DVD player it stops after the initial credits.
Is this normal? Should I have done something to re-author rather than just back up?
(The disk I used was DVD+RW, which is fine with my player)
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Tony,
I was using DVD+ media and found that it was hit or miss on weather it would play correctly. Some would play with no problems, others would hiccup or stop ( same media and player ). I switched to DVD - a couple months ago and have not had a single problem playing on my or other players.
Your fix could be as simple as switching to DVD - media.
