Paint shop pro 4. Patches up to date.
I am unable to save files my files as .jpgs. I can save them as .psp files however.
I was able to save them last week, so something has changed in my settings, but have no idea where to look.
10 years using PSP and I have to say...dislike all versions after PSP XI.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm in a jam here and need this as a .jpg asap

Can you save as another format like TIFF or PNG? If so you can use another image converter. There is even an online service called Cloud Convert.
Can I ask what happens when you try to save as a JPG? What errors happen, how are you unable to save JPGs exactly?

When you do File> Save As in the dialog box that appears do you have Save As Type showing as PSPIMAGE? To the right of that box can you click the down arrow and change that to JPG JPEG ?
Or is it the case that you have that set for JPG and it still will not save.
At its simplest try New and type in some figures to get a new document. Then (Layers > Merge All -[if document is transparent]) and then File Save As and change that box mentioned to read JPG and see if that will save.
