Retaining Previous "Extras"

Retaining Previous "Extras"
How does one go about retaining "Extras" such as plug-ins, extra programs in "Ultimate" versions, etc.?

Those "extras" should be in a folder where you can point your newer version to.
So, if you have extra brushes, they would be in a Brushes folder for X5. Now, in X6, go to File > Preferences > File location and on the Brushes tab, add a new folder which will be where the X5 extras are. That will make your X6 retrieve the supplies from X5.
