Have you tried looking at the files on the disc in Windows Explorer and 'running' the setup.exe file ?

Yes, of course. So, the box comes with 2 discs. One with video studio pro X5, with a serial number on it, then a disc for paint shop pro X5 with a serial. The Video Studio disc says "dvd" on it, and it plays this stupid cyber DVD dialog. The other disc HAS setup.exe on it, but it's for the paintshop version. Staples was stupid when I went in, they are all a bunch of kids who flunked out of college. I traded for a different disc, then same thing. Why would you have disc in a sleeve with a serial code on it if the disc is only a dvd disc? I am pretty good with computers, this is just rediculous. they emailed me from corel and sent me "how to maually install from the disc/bad disc" but how can u use setup.exe if there isn't one? IMA bout ready to pirate this ***. waste of money if no one can help you out. I could see 1 disc, but 2? Gotta be compatability issues with Windows 8 . brand new computer too .

It is possible that that second disc contains all the video tutorials - you say it plays a video but what is it about - is it how to use VideoStudio or PaintShop - or is it just the introduction followed by a menu to install. it is only playing in Cyber DVD because that is the DVD playing software you have on your PC

What are ALL the files on the second disc - can you open it in Windows Explorer/Computer so it shows all the files then take a screen grab and post it up here.

Hi

When you run the installation from the disc you should see a screen similar to this, it may show as Pro not Ultimate.

Otherwise copy the entire disc content to your pc, worth doing as a backup anyway.
These are the files I see:-

What do you see on your disc.
