Corel Downloads Folder

Post by ADonahoo »

Installing PSP X6 took out all the service packs and patches for all my other installed versions of PSP that were in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads

It's no great loss since I copied all those to an external drive as soon as they appeared there for that "some time in the future" when you can no longer download them. It's just strange that this new version would do that. Reminds me of the time that removing the trial version of X3 took out the My PSP Files folder in My Documents that had to be rebuilt from scratch.

I didn't put this in the bug reports because I'm not sure if it is a bug or a feature.

Strange. I just had a folder clean up frenzy and all my previous files from older versions, inc service packs, were still there.

That's really interesting. Maybe it was the removal of the trial version, both 32-bit and 64-bit, along with the installation of only the 32-bit version from the boxes version that did it. I didn't look in that folder before this.
