Version 1.2.07 doesn't accept license

Post by F8Driver »

I installed the previous update without difficulty. When I install this latest patch, ASP comes up announcing that my trial period of 30 days is up (I'm a licensed user). When I go to the next step and enter the license, the dialog box doesn't allow me to send the registration key. I've got a feeling its that stupid program that checks Corel license keys ... it became corrupted or went missing and I had to reinstall both ASP and PSP.

I have no idea what's going on, what's causing the problem, but the onerous nature of Adobe products and their "subscriptions" doesn't seem quite so bad any more.

OBTW, in my frustration with the support pages (somewhat akin to voicemail hell), I managed to complete Corel's online survey. I was not complimentary.

Additional information: If I uninstall the version 1.2.07 update and re-install the previous update, all is well. I've attached two images of the dialog boxes I've encountered with my attempt to "upgrade."
The first hint all is not well.
