Have just downloaded X6 for evaluation, not very impressed.
I open a photo and the "Edit" tab becomes active. Clicked on "Adjust" and the photo flashes for a half a second and then disappears. Click on "Edit" again and the photo is gone.
Have also got the bug in "Object Extractor" (see other thread)
Where did my photo go?

Re: Where did my photo go?
Tony:
I've tried to follow what you did. It appears to me that you dove in and opened an image by using File/open from the menu. Edit and Adjust are separate modes. The file opens in Edit but clicking on Adjust closes the active file. Adjust then looks for a file to open and not finding one, shows a blank screen. In your case it appears you had not told PSP which directory you want to work with so it had no reference point. Your image is still in the directory from which you opened it into Edit.
You need to do a little housekeeping. Start in Manage Mode and in the Navigation panel find and select the directory containing your images. If you are in thumbnail mode click on an image to select it or if you are in Preview, select an image in Organizer. Navigator and Organizer are available in Edit and Adjust modes as well. After selecting an image select Edit or Adjust mode and your image will appear in the mode you choose. You can move between Edit and Manage and the image you are working on will remain in Edit. If you select Adjust, Edit will ask if you want to save your changes since it starts all over in Adjust. Every time you leave Adjust you will be prompted if you want to save the changes you have made. Personally, I never use Adjust since I find I cannot recreate changes I have made.
With every new program you need to go through a learning period to become familiar with its functionality. Try using Help - there is a good introductory section.
