Hello,
New to forum but have used PSP for many years.
Processed three images using PSP X5 HDR processing. Program saved file as a .hdr file. Can't figure out how to save it as a .JPG or convert the .hdr file to .jpg.
Any help appreciated!

With the image open in the Edit mode, when you click File > Save As, don't you get a dialogue box asking for a name for the new file, and below that, a drop down menu offering a variety of format choices, including jpg?

In X5, in either the Edit or Manage mode, click File> HDR> Load HDR File.
You should get the dialog to find and load your .hdr file, which you then find your file and load it.
This should take you to Step 2 of the HDR process.
At the bottom left there's a few buttons, two of which are Create HDR File (which I presume you've already done) and Process. Click Process.
Step 3: Fine Tune. Tweak to your hearts content, then click Edit rather than Save and Close and it will bring the image up in the Edit workspace, which you can then Save As a jpeg or any other file type you like.

Re: Converting .hdr file to .JPG on X5
Dan,
Thanks!!! Going into edit mode after making adjustments in HDR mode is the key. Save option in HDR does not give you option to save in any other format other than HDR.
Thanks again! Problem solved.

Yeah, it is kind of an odd workflow that PSP forces you into. Glad to help.
