Re: Paint Shop Pro X6 is officially released.
HI,
Can you tell me if PSP X6 is available in a 32 bit version or is the 64 bit suitable to run in Windows 7 32 bit?
Also can I buy this version on CD boxed?
I am currently using X4 and am eligible to buy the upgrade if I wish.
Marge

I purchased PSP X6 (not Ultimate) CD from Amazon. When installing, it offers 3 options::: to install 32 bit, 64 bit or BOTH. Hope that helps you.

Hi Marge
PSPX6 comes with a 32 bit and 64 bit installer. It installs the 32 bit version only on XP Home. ON Windows 7 64 bit machine you have the option of installing either or both. I have both the 32 bit and 64 bit version installed on my Windows 7 Laptop.
According to the Corel site it is also available in a boxed version.

Re: Paint Shop Pro X6 is officially released.
I am not sure where I should make this request so forgive me if I should not have posted it to this thread also.
Thanks for your reply. I have decided not to go to X6 for now as it appears there may be a few bugs not fixed yet. I will attempt to tidy up my X4 first.
I have two options I am considering. The first is to try the Hail Mary gambit and see what happens. Otherwise I can select File--Preferences--Reset Preferences and see what happens. Both promise not to delete any files from my hard drive.
Now for the big question. Do you know if these options will produce any different results and which one should I try? I have nothing I would not mind losing (I think). It is mainly the workspace and palettes which are somewhat confused and I am pretty sure that I have confused the program and factory default settings might sort it out.
