Cannot edit a disc created in Movie Factory

Post by Pev »

Hi,
Can anyone explain why when I edit a DVD created in movie factory the resulting ixb file that is created ony my hard drive cannot then be read by Movie Factory. It comes up as not a supported file. It only recognises the ixb file it created when I click on the burn from existing disc image icon at the bottom of the main Movie Factory page. I cannot edit the disc as I want to, all this does is allow me to make a copy of the original disc same as copy disc.
I have tried converting the ixb file to an ISO file but still cannot open the file to edit it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

IXB file is the file extension for Ulead's image file. much like the .ISO

you can only use the edit disc if the project was burned to DVDRW disc. If the disc was burned on DVD-R, the software will recopy the files to hard drive and burn it on a new DVD-R.
