Project files online?

Post by Cassel »

I stumbled upon projects that can be purchased or downloaded, and they are After Effect files (there are thousands on http://videohive.net).
I dont have After Effect, and purchasing it is kind of out of my budget.
Is there a way to maybe convert AE files to be used in VS? If so, i could ask someone who has AE to just convert them, and i could edit them in VS.
Or is there a way to use AE in VS directly?
If the answer is no to the above questions, is there somewhere to get (purchase or download) similar projects for VS?

I don't see how a AE project file could be used in VS as project files are only compatible with the program that created them. Corel VSP project files would not work with AfterEffect, etc.

Since most layers in Photoshop can be read as layers in Paintshop Pro, i thought that it might be possible to have a "compatible format" between the two.

Then, if the thousands of AE project files cannot be used in VS, is there somewhere we can have a large variety of VS projects? on the Corel site, there are 30 projects. That does not compare with the 13,000 AE files just on ONE site (videohive). Anything comparable?

I see 4. Is that all there is or there are more? It says "Recently". Any "not so recently"?
