When will x6 boxed version be shipped?

I ordered the boxed version over a week ago - assuming Corel would ship it when ordered. Still nothing - their order status says "processing" and I did receive an email confirming my order. Do I have to wait for the commercial release to the public - whenever that is? Anyone have info on this? Bob

I suspect only Corel will be able to provide a firm answer -- unless some other user out there has already received the boxed version.

Did your confirmation email contain the SN and link to the download version? You could always install that -- or the TBYB version -- until such time as the boxed version arrives...

Thanks Ken. That's what I was afraid of. Corel really should have explained that the boxed version would be shipped later - and given a date. Maybe they thought at the price they offered no one would buy the boxed version - I just like to have the disk for future use in case I change PCs.

No - they do not provide the serial number - stating that it is on the disc envelope. I did download the trial - so I'm using that. Will be a little upset if it runs out before I get the disc!

Whenever I download any software I immediately make a backup copy either on an external hard drive or on a DVD. I never bother with buying boxed versions. These days when there is no more hard copy manuals there really is no point in getting boxed versions.

Except that there are a limited number of activations allowed with downloaded and no such limitation on the disk versions. I'll bet I have installed PSP a dozen times on various computers, either new or reformatted.
